Greg

Greg is a technical artist with twelve years of experience in the American animation and games industries. He’s a generalist by training, and wears lots of hats on any given day! In his roles so far he has focused on cloth & fur motion, procedural character creation, large scale crowd simulations and heavy asset management. He has also served as team lead, helping to balance workload with team capabilities and bidding out future work, as well as testing out new technologies and planning their implementation for upcoming projects. He comes to the world of games and animation from brief careers as a fully licensed NYC math teacher and a fully unlicensed Construction Expediter’s assistant. He has a deep love of gaming, prefers to use the oxford comma, and makes a most excellent banana pizza.

His grad school thesis, the project which launched his career into movie-making, can be found here: Source Animation Project. It is very old and super out of date compared to the cool tech that’s available these days, so please don’t judge him by it.
